people and is described as insightful, heart-centered and compassionate.
~Jean opened Compassionate Consulting in September of 2005 and has been offering
aromatherapy consultations and Raindrop Technique Sessions ever since.
She also teaches classes locally in
~Jean counts her life
experience raising 5 children, now ages 21, 23, 25, 27, and 29, as invaluable
training, gaining understanding, wisdom, practical sense and skill like no
other experience can. These past two years added more joy with a daughter-in-law and precious grand-daughter!
Education and Certifications
~Completed second Aromatherapy Certification in August 2011 approved by NAHA and AIA (Alliance of International Aromatherapists) at Aromahead Institute in Ithaca, NY
~Certificate of Ordination as a Minister July 2011
~Certifications in Advanced Holistic Wellness & Spiritual Psychology (June 2010) and Integrated Self Healing (May 2011) through the Holistic Research Institute
~ Certified as a Natural Health Professional (CNHP) since May 2009: specializing in Nutrition
~In the fall of 2008 Jean was interviewed by author and professor, Dr. Robert Rodgers who counsels clients with Parkinson’s Disease. Dr. Rodgers published their conversation in a book, called Pioneers of Recovery. This book was intended for those living with Parkinson’s and is full of interviews with natural health professionals who are using many kinds of natural approaches to healing for their clients …… and finding success with many of them!
~Jean has attended several Advanced Aromatherapy training days with Essential Oil Resource Consultants (EORC) during 2007-2009 on special topics like Essential Oils in Cancer Care, Respiratory Care, Digestive Disorders and Supporting the Body's Terrain
~ Certified as a Clinical Aromatherapist through the Institute of Spiritual Healing and Aromatherapy (approved by the National Association of Holistic Aromatherapists) in 2007; using essential oils for herself, her family and friends since 1995
~ Special four day training in Raindrop and Vitaflex Techniques from the Center for Aromatherapy Research and Education (C.A.R.E.) in 2006
~ Five years in a spiritual transformation program with the Pathwork™ process commuting between Rochester, NY and Madison, VA from 2000 to 2005
~ Lomi Mai Ka Na'au training in Kauai 2000 (lomi massage)
~ Finished two years of study (Energy Healing) at Barbara Brennan's School of Healing (BBSH now located in Miami, Fla.) from 1997-1999
~ After raising her large family, Jean returned to nursing in New York state, and has worked as a Registered Nurse since 1994
~ Graduate of West Virginia Northern Community College in 1981 with an Associate's Degree in Nursing
